Making Strategic Decisions and Enhancing Instruction in your Investigations Classroom Institute

Pearson offers a focused institute that allows experienced teachers to take their knowledge on the Investigations in Number, Data and Space curriculum to the next level. This 3-day Institute is a hands-on opportunity for teachers to analyze student work and discuss experiences to make strategic decisions about future lesson planning. Grade specific units will be used each day.

The focus of each day's training will be:

• Using effective questioning strategies
• Engaging students through cooperative learning
• Using student data to drive classroom instruction
• Using Investigations Technology to enhance Instruction

Duration: 3 days

New User's Pre-Session

New teachers to Investigations can participate in the 1-day pre-session available which will focus on philosophy, product orientation, and model lessons. This session will prepare new users for the Investigations in-depth institute: Making Strategic Decisions and Enhancing Instruction in your Investigations Classroom.

Duration: 1 day

Cost: $149 per person

Registration includes course materials, continental breakfast, and lunch

All training is delivered by certified trainers. Registration is limited to 35 participants.
